After prayers,we started walking from Gala at 5.am for Budhi;it is a trek of 20km along river kali;there were 400 steps going down on one sideand Kali was flowing with great force.the landscape was beautiful and we saw a number of waterfalls;actually the path goes behind a waterfall !the other side kali is Nepal;the coniferous forests of fir and deodar were beautiful.I trekked 16km on foot and got on to the pony for the rest;it was raining on and off and i got wet;i reached Budhi at 7.pm;i suddenly felt very chill as my socks got wet;doctorsab,a co-yatri rubbed my feet and gave me a cup of steaming hot tea;it was a tough journey, but the scenery was enchanting as can be seen from the photos posted here.
